  • How We Like It

A smoky-roasted tomato salsa with the heat of chipotle peppers (which are actually just smoked-and-dried jalapenos!). Shines brightest with cauli tinga and chipotle mushrooms.
  • What does it taste like?

Subtle chipotle heat with a rustic smoky flavor and a hint of lime.

How to Make Chilaquiles

1) Pour salsa into pan and heat on medium-high for ~3 minutes
2) Add chilaquiles chips
3) Gently fold chips evenly for 3-6 minutes (shorter time = more crunch!)
4) Remove from heat and add toppings (Mexican Peacadillo, beans, queso fresco)
5) Buen Provecho!

Picadillo isn’t just popular in Mexican cuisine — this minced beef dish is huge in the Philippines, where it’s lovingly called “Giniling,” aka Tagalog for ground meat.
