• 1 pouch of SOMOS™ Mexican Peacadillo™
  • 6 corn tortillas or store-bought tostadas
  • ¼ red cabbage, finely shredded
  • ¼ cup crema or sour cream
  • ¼ cup cotija cheese
  • 3 tbsp cilantro, chopped
  • 1 avocado, mashed
  • 1 jalapeño, finely diced
  • 2 tbsp red onion, finely diced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • Optional: ¼ cup vegetable oil


  1. In a small bowl or molcajete, combine avocado, jalapeño, 2 tbsp of cilantro, red onion, lime juice, and a pinch of salt to make guacamole
  2. If making your own tostadas, heat oil over medium heat in a heavy-bottomed pan. Add corn tortillas one at a time and fry on each side for 2 minutes or until lightly golden brown and crispy. Move to a towel-lined plate and sprinkle with salt
  3. Microwave SOMOS™ Mexican Peacadillo™ for 90 seconds
  4. Spread guacamole on the tostadas and top with SOMOS™ Mexican Peacadillo™
  5. Garnish with red cabbage, crema, cotija cheese, and the remaining cilantro. Serve with lime
