Ingredients
- 1 pouch SOMOS Chipotle Refried Beans
- ½ pouch SOMOS Taco Simmer Sauce
- ½ lb ground beef
- 1 cup sour cream (plus extra for the spiderweb)
- 2 cups guacamole (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 cup fresh salsa or pico de gallo
- 1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
- ½ cup sliced black olives (reserve 1 whole olive for the spider body)
- ½ cup chopped tomatoes
- ½ cup chopped green onions
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
- Tortilla chips, for serving
Prep
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef until fully cooked. Stir in ½ pouch of SOMOS Taco Simmer Sauce and simmer for 2–3 minutes until saucy and flavorful. Set aside to cool slightly.
- Spread SOMOS Chipotle Refried Beans evenly on the bottom of a shallow serving dish. Top with the taco-simmered beef for a hearty, flavorful base.
- Add the guacamole in an even layer over the sour cream. Spread salsa or pico de gallo over the guacamole, then sprinkle shredded cheese evenly on top.
- Finish with the toppings: Sprinkle with chopped tomatoes, green onions, and cilantro
- Create your spooky web: Place a few tablespoons of sour cream in a piping or zip-top bag with the tip snipped. Pipe concentric circles on top, then drag a toothpick from the center outward to make a web
- Add the spider: Add a plastic spider in the middle and some olives around the web
