Ingredients

  • 1 pouch of SOMOS™ Pinto & Black Beans
  • ¼ cup red onion, chopped
  • ¼ cup bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ cup oat flour
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp cumin
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 brioche buns
  • 2 slices of iceberg lettuce
  • ½ tomato, sliced
  • Pickles, mayonnaise and mustard to taste

Prep

  1. Heat olive oil in a small skillet over medium heat and add onion, bell pepper and garlic. Season with salt, paprika, cumin and pepper. Place in a medium bowl.
  2. Add the SOMOS™ Pinto & Black Beans pouch and out flour and mix until well combined.
  3. Form two burger patties and add to a lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake at 350ºF for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Assemble the burgers with the brioche buns and condiments.
