Ingredients
- 1 pouch SOMOS™ Chipotle Refried Black Beans
- 1lb steak, seasoned & cooked to your liking
- 1 ½ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 4-6 flour tortillas, large burrito size
- 2 tbsp vegetable or olive oil
- 2 tbsp cilantro, chopped
- Optional: 1 jar SOMOS™ Cuatro Chiles Medium Salsa
Prep
- Cut cooked steak into 1-inch cubes and set aside in a bowl
- Microwave SOMOS™ Chipotle Refried Black Beans for 90 seconds
- Heat cast iron skillet or comal and add 1 tortilla at a time
- Spread a generous amount of SOMOS™ Chipotle Refried Black Beans onto half of the tortilla and load that half with cheese and steak
- Fold in half and let sit for 2-4 minutes or until cheese melts
- Transfer quesadilla to a plate and cut into quarters
- Top with cilantro and serve with SOMOS™ Cuatro Chiles Taqueria Salsa
