• 1 pouch SOMOS™ Chipotle Refried Black Beans
  • 1lb steak, seasoned & cooked to your liking
  • 1 ½ cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 4-6 flour tortillas, large burrito size
  • 2 tbsp vegetable or olive oil
  • 2 tbsp cilantro, chopped
  • Optional: 1 jar SOMOS™ Cuatro Chiles Medium Salsa


  1. Cut cooked steak into 1-inch cubes and set aside in a bowl
  2. Microwave SOMOS™ Chipotle Refried Black Beans for 90 seconds
  3. Heat cast iron skillet or comal and add 1 tortilla at a time
  4. Spread a generous amount of SOMOS™ Chipotle Refried Black Beans onto half of the tortilla and load that half with cheese and steak
  5. Fold in half and let sit for 2-4 minutes or until cheese melts
  6. Transfer quesadilla to a plate and cut into quarters
  7. Top with cilantro and serve with SOMOS™ Cuatro Chiles Taqueria Salsa
