Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets (about 5–6 oz each)
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1–2 tbsp SOMOS Mexican Chili Crisp
  • Salt & pepper
  • 1 pouch SOMOS Cilantro Lime White Rice
  • 1 pouch SOMOS Mexican Black Beans
  • Toppings of choice (we love sliced avocado & fresh spinach)

Prep

  1. Cook the salmon: Season salmon with salt and pepper. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add salmon skin-side down. Cook 3–4 minutes per side until flaky. In the last minute, drizzle with honey and spoon over SOMOS Mexican Chili Crisp to glaze and crisp slightly. Remove from heat.
  2. Heat the base: Microwave SOMOS Cilantro Lime White Rice and SOMOS Mexican Black Beans together for 3 minutes.
  3. Assemble: Divide rice and beans between two bowls. Top with honey chili crisp salmon and finish with avocado, spinach, and any other favorite toppings.
